Form followed function behind this design when ATMOSPHERE DESIGN created a distinctively upscale yet casual Asian restaurant for what had been a local ‘take-out only’ gem. This innovative plan allows the restaurant and the bar area to operate separately from the take-out area, creating synergy without detracting from either element. The vibrant décor features custom fabricated furniture in traditional Chinese style, adapted to modern use. Glass screens covered with Chinese calligraphy divide the busy dining area, while metallic mirrored backdrops draw the eye to create a sense of expansive space.
